Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector
A longtime Tarrant County resident and fifth-generation Texan, Rick Barnes serves as the Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector. A Fort Worth native and proud Gladney baby, he built two successful businesses — a leadership consulting firm and an insurance agency — before dedicating himself to public service. He and his wife, Sheila, married 37 years, are active in their church and community and volunteer at various charities throughout Tarrant County.
